Finding Your Way In A Blurry World.
When life gets foggy, faith becomes our compass.
I spend many times wondering about our crazy world—times where I wonder if there is any coming back from where we are. How did we get here? Well, the answer is really quite simple. We have given up our hold on the truth and allowed culture to dictate what truth is. “Speak your truth,” they say, but this is where the spiritual world and the world we live in collide. This cannot stand true if there is only one truth. There are moments in life when everything feels... out of focus. We check the news, scroll our feeds, try to keep pace—but it’s like we’re squinting through smudged glasses, searching for clarity that never quite comes.
In this blurry world, we can feel unsure of our direction. The plans we made? Shifting. The certainty we once had? Fading. The people we rely on? Sometimes distant.
But here’s the truth: God has never been blurry.
Light for the Next Step
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105 (ESV)
This verse doesn’t say God’s Word is a spotlight that reveals the entire road ahead. It says it's a lamp—a steady glow to guide each next step. It’s in the daily moments of reading Scripture, pausing to pray, and seeking His presence that clarity comes—not in our timing, but in His.
Jesus in the Fog
Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”
Not a way. The Way.
When the world feels confusing, Jesus invites us to follow—not a plan, not a feeling, but a Person. His way is not always the easiest. It may lead through valleys and uncertainties. But it always leads home.
From Blurry to Beautiful
I pray that we can be like the psalmist writes in Psalm 1:1-3, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” This is the portrayal of godliness. This is not the only time in the scriptures that we are reminded to remain close to the father. Jesus tells us to abide in him as he abides in the Father. This is where we find the beauty in a world that seems so messed up. As we strive to abide in Christ, we find freedom, life, and clarity. The truth is Jesus! The truth is not a subjective thing that we decide. The truth is a person—Jesus. In Him we find all things good, right, faithful, and true.
The longer we walk with Jesus, the more we see: what felt like a fog was actually a refining. What seemed unclear was an invitation to trust. And what felt lost was actually being found again—in Him.
Your Next Step
If today feels overwhelming, don’t strive for perfect clarity. Strive to abide in Christ.
(Read: John 15:4-11)
Prayer
Lord, you are good and we trust in that today. You have led your people from the foundations of creation and we trust in you today to continue leading us. You are faithful, God. I want to abide in you today. Please fill me and lead me with you spirit, so that I may be all that you have created me to be. Thank you for the truth that you are. We trust in you. Amen!
You may not see the full picture yet—but you don’t have to.
Because the One who holds it sees you perfectly.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
